POSTMORTEM

One of the main things that went well would have to be our cards. We were able to improve them with every update we did, and we changed our design to the current design we have now which was the most ideal design we could have. The lamination process went really well on top of the printing on the cards. Another thing that went well was the box itself, we originally didn’t intend to have it which was a great addition to the game because it allowed us to have a place to put the directions and a place to hold the cards all together. We were also able to paint it and make the box match our overall theme which was a major plus. A third thing that went well would be the icons we were able to match online on twine to the pictures on the cards. It was awesome that we could incorporate the icons both in a physical form as well as an online form.

One thing that we felt could have gone better would be the answer page on our google drive. Although it was a great way for everyone to be involved and it makes the game anonymous, it isn’t an efficient way for everyone to play. If you don’t have the google drive app already downloaded then you have to go in and download it and put it on your phone in order to answer. So that is something that would be a beneficial change to incorporate in a different way. Another thing that could have been done better would be adding more cards to make it a longer game, however it was more of a prototype so we were unable to fully make a full-length game. The third thing we would change would be adding a dice piece to add randomness to which card and category we had to draw. We had the idea of doing a triangle with all the colors on it so whatever one it landed on we would be able to pick that category and then the judge would be able to pick the card. If we incorporated that in our game then it would be a good way to add more chance to the overall game.
